ViewDS Identity Solutions is pleased to announce the general availability of Identity Bridge 1.3. The new version of Identity Bridge includes several bug fixes, performance improvements and new features, including:

  • Improvements in LDAP search performance
  • Delta database performance improvements
  • Addition of a new web API connector for source and target systems

For a complete list of changes, see the Identity Bridge Release Notes.

Gil Kirkpatrick, CTO at ViewDS said “We’ve incorporated a lot of customer feedback in this release, particularly with the new web services connector. It will make provisioning and synchronizing identity data through external web APIs much simpler. And the LDAP performance improvements will really help those customers who require low-latency synchronization between Active Directory and other applications and databases.”

Julian Lawrence, Senior Consultant at reseller EB2BCOM in Melbourne, Australia welcomed the new release. “We have government customers with absolutely massive Active Directory and LDAP infrastructures, and the improved LDAP sync speeds will really help them reduce the synchronization latency across all their systems.”

Existing Identity Bridge subscription or annual  maintenance customers are entitled to the new version under their agreements and should check with their reseller or support provider for upgrade information.
