The core to ViewDS is an advanced XML and LDAPv3 Directory and Discovery Server.
This provides users with a superior database server which is optimized for applications in which
information is reasonably static but requires multiple high speed search and retrieval operations.

Limited only by the server's hardware, there are
no restrictions on the number of entries, size or number of attributes,
depth of the DIT or the number of connected users.
Directory information containing over 30 million

Both DAP and LDAP operations are able to be distributed
