A major issue for organizations is the management and visualization of resources and their physical location. Typically organizations will maintain information about assets, people and location specific data in separate systems.

Locality information, such as building, floors, wings and cubicles are stored in an easily traversable hierarchy.

Entry to Entry relationships can be established within ViewDS, whereby people and assets can be associated with locations.

By storing all of this information within a single repository, the information becomes much easier to maintain, which results in a higher level of accuracy. The centralised storage of information makes reporting, searching and viewing of information possible.
